An essential for every tour! The Neyland is a lightweight windbreaker that packs down small. Made from 88 % recycled polyester and 12 % elastane, the jacket is extremely stretchy and allows full freedom of movement. It fits into any backpack and is perfect for almost any situation, whether that means a fast-paced hike in the mountains, playing outdoor sports or sitting around the campfilre in the evening. This wind jacket is the right choice whenever a fleece would be too warm. The highly breathable material ensures an optimal microclimate. The adjustable waistband and cuffswith stretch inserts ensure a good, individualized fit. The hood can be adjusted with one hand and it’ll stand up to a light rain – the softshell is outfitted with a water-repellent Eco Finish. Keys, phone and money are safely stowed in the two zip pockets. 

Windproof 80
80 % windproofness due to an extra dense fabric construction (weave, finish or workmanship). What remains of the wind is a pleasantly cooling breath in the microclimate, which achieves unbeatable breathability. This technology is suitable for use in windy weather conditions in high-motion mountain sports.

Eco Finish
VAUDE products with Eco Finish are environmentally friendly and water-repellent without fluorocarbons (PFC). PFC belong to a group of chemical compounds that are used in many outdoor products to impregnate the outer fabric. They have been criticised for not being degradable, accumulating in the body and being suspected of being harmful to health. VAUDE has a clear commitment not to use PFC at all.

Green Shape
Green Shape is the VAUDE seal of approval for products that are manufactured in a particularly environmentally friendly manner. This includes the complete production cycle from development and production to maintenance and usability after use. The criteria for this are strict. The products must consist either of at least 90 percent organically grown cotton, recycled materials or the Tencel wood fibre. Furthermore, they must have been dyed with the environmentally friendly dyeing process VAUDE eColour or meet the world’s strictest environmental textile standard Bluesign. VAUDE’s goal is the best for man and nature.

In this way, Vaude undertakes to continuously improve working conditions in all production facilities. These are regularly checked.
